Last week 23 more formerly homeless women graduated from the Women’s Empowerment job-readiness program. The community came together to celebrate the successes of these women and to honor their dreams for a brighter future. Community partners have given generously to WE Works over the last several weeks: ensuring that all of the women who graduated last Thursday have access to life-long supportive services that will prevent them from slipping back into homelessness. On behalf of these 23 women and the 916 formerly homeless women who came before them -- thank you! Women’s Empowerment would not exist without the support and compassion of this community.
