People Helping People Awards Luncheon

Several Women’s Empowerment volunteers and community partners were honored at last week’s People Helping People Awards Luncheon. We were thrilled to nominate Intel, the Assistance League of Sacramento, Kristin Thebaud Communications, and long-time volunteer Ronnie Corrick for the incredible work they do for our organization.

A big congratulation to Kristin Thebaud, who won the Exceptional Community Support Award – Small Business Category for her pro-bono marketing and public relations work with non-profits like Women’s Empowerment! We would be lost without generous partners like Kristin, and we are so happy to see her work recognized by the community. Way to go Kristin!

NuStar Energy and Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region also won well deserved awards for their dedicated work in our community. These fabulous organizations are very supportive to Women’s Empowerment, and we couldn’t be happier for them!
