Volunteer Opportunities at Women’s Empowerment Include:
Teachers & Small Group Facilitators
If you have a specialty or a passion that would help our women along their journey to success, consider being a Women’s Empowerment volunteer teacher or small group facilitator.
Job Mentor
We are looking for women who have work experience and an hour per week, through eight weeks, to work one-on-one with a student. Often mentors work with participants through tasks such as resume writing, mock interviews and self-confidence development.
Event Committees
Work side by side with the women in the program by helping plan ahead and set-up on the day of events. Events include graduations, fund-raisers and our annual holiday party.
Computer Technician
If you are computer savvy, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. When computers are donated, we need help refurbishing them so we may give them to graduates. We would also love to have tech support for staff computers. You can donate as much or as little time as you have!
Organizer
If you have a knack for organizing, consider helping us by organizing our Professional Women’s Clothing Closet and storage space.
