A Successful Celebration!

On September 22, 2011 graduates, staff, volunteers, community members, and family gathered together to celebrate the 10th Annual Women’s Empowerment Gala.  Guests of the sold-out event enjoyed a moving program, an exciting silent and live auction and raffle, and inspirational speeches from executive director Lisa Culp and Women’s Empowerment graduate Julie Debbs. Together, we raised $120,000!

Prom and Evening Dress Sale to Benefit Women's Empowerment

This Saturday, Kimberly Page Skincare and Salud to Wellness will host a prom and evening dress sale at 5530 Elvas Avenue in Sacramento from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Local residents can purchase prom and evening dresses for $20. All proceeds will benefit our homeless students here at Women's Empowerment and will assist the women in finding homes and jobs.

Host a Stocking Drive!

You can bring joy to a homeless woman and her children this holiday season by holding a stocking drive. We need new, unused, unwrapped gifts and stockings using our wish list.  Send a financial donation, and we’ll do the shopping for you!
