This October You Can Boo to Empower!

With trick or treating deemed unsafe during the pandemic, a ten-year-old girl named Isabella got the idea to ask her neighbors, friends, and family to donate the money they’d usually spend on candy to Women’s Empowerment. Through this incredible act of philanthropy, Isabella raised thousands of dollars to help empower women and children experiencing homelessness.

Inspired by Isabella’s kindness, WE have developed an October activity to help you get in on the action, make a difference, and surprise your neighbors, friends, and family with a friendly ghost named Bella!

The steps are as easy as 1, 2, and 3!
  1. Make a donation of any amount to Women’s Empowerment.
  2. Print the sign and instructions to post on your chosen recipient’s home. It can be a neighbor, family member, or friend’s home!
    Don’t have a printer?
Pick up Boo to Empower signs & instructions at 1590 North A Street, Sacramento, CA any time in October during business hours.
  3. Secretly leave the sign (and some treats if you want) at the home you are booing.
